chose it!
I originally chose these toys purely for their sustainable fabric use, the ability to compost them after use, and because they were safe to ingest for dogs that tend to eat their toys. However, they quickly became a favourite toy for almost all the dogs that came through my doors!

Lasted Pretty Long

My dog is a big chewer and while the toy didn't last that long as one piece, she still plays with all the unravelled pieces and I know it's okay because it's no biggie if she eats a piece.

FAQ's
How Long Will These Toys Last My Dog?
If your dog loves to rip the stuffing out of toys, then it depends how quickly your dog is capable of doing so to these toys. In saying that, even when somewhat destroyed, dogs still seem to enjoy playing with them! Playing fetch or tag and removing the toy occasionally will help extend its life. For the chewers, the suede toys and the prawn toy are the best choice.
What Makes These Toys Compostable?
The toys are made of all-natural fibres which can be home composted at the end of their life. Simply remove the squeaker or plastic bottle for recycling, if your dog hasn't already pulled the toy a part, and throw the toy into your home or council compost bin.
Why Do These Toys Have Hidden Plastic Pieces?
My goal is to eventually remove all plastic from the store so your dog can have a plastic free life, for now, these toys are a huge step up from what's typically available. The brand have advised that they found an increase in engagement in toys that made some kind of sound, but I will endeavor to always search for better.
My Dog Likes To Eat Toy Stuffing, Is This Safe To Eat?
For a dog with a healthy digestive system, jute, cotton and suede are all digestible fabrics. However, I would not recommend encouraging consumption, particularly in large amounts. In my experience, most dogs pull the stuffing out to play with it but don't actually eat it.
