Appointment Terms

Your pet will be accepted for an appointment, providing the following conditions are met and accepted by the owner or persons bringing forward the pet.  By bringing your pet forward, you agree that you have read and understood our Terms & Conditions.


1. The pet is presented in a healthy condition for grooming. Grooming may expose pre-existing medical and skin conditions for which Organix Canine Wellness Centre (OWCW) cannot be held liable.

2. Although Organix Canine Wellness Centre does everything possible to make your pet feel comfortable, grooming an elderly pet or a pet with pre-existing or underlying physical or mental medical conditions is at the owner’s risk.

3. The owner understands that if they are uncontactable at their pet’s appointment, they agree to pay for all grooming services deemed necessary by Organix Canine Wellness Centre for their pet’s best interest and well-being. This could be but is not limited to removal of matts, altering the booked service or providing flea treatments and/or skin treatments.

4. Organix Canine Wellness Centre does not work with dogs who are infested with fleas. If the pet is found to have been infested with fleas. A specialised flea treatment will be given at the owner’s expense.

5. The owner understands that all quoted grooming prices are estimates and may be increased/decreased at the groomer’s discretion based on the pet’s coat condition, skin condition, special handling needs, the demeanour of the pet, and all other additional services requested by the owner or deemed necessary by the groomer.

6. The owner understands that the act of hair cutting in any form, including hand stripping, carding or shaving, may result in hair loss, patchiness, skin irritations, sores and/or cuts and may expose a pre-existing medical condition.

7. The owner understands that whilst Organix Canine Wellness Centre provides a clean environment, an unvaccinated pet is always at risk of contracting diseases. It is the owner’s responsibility to inform Organix Canine Wellness Centre of any changes in vaccination status.

8. If the pet’s nails require cutting, the owner understands there is the possibility of exposing the quick, which may or may not bleed, at the time of grooming or anytime afterwards. In the event the pet’s nail/s do bleed, the groomer will apply the appropriate first aid procedure and attempt to prevent excessive bleeding. I.e. Applying styptic powder or corn flour etc.


1. Upon appointment acceptance, the pet owner must provide honest information regarding their dog’s health and reasoning for undertaking a Myotherapy treatment.

2. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to update OCWC prior to any appointment of any medical changes that may affect an upcoming treatment.

3. OCWC is qualified in Canine Myotherapy by The Animal Naturopathic Educatum and will be able to provide a massage treatment and treatment outcome advice for its clients and their dogs while operating under the guidelines of the Small Animal & Equine Naturopathic Association.

4. OCWC may require a notice from a Veterinarian to provide a Myotherapy treatment in certain situations. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to obtain such a letter and forward it to OCWC.

5. Pre-paid treatment plans are non-refundable and non-transferable unless rescheduling takes place 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

6. While all due care is taken to inform and coach clients on home exercises during an appointment, OCWC will not be held liable for any injuries or illnesses that occur while pet owners practice at home.

7. OCWC devises “Therapeutic Exercise Plans” that are tailored to the individual pet with varying degrees of difficulty. OCWC will do their utmost best to ensure the exercises are not overfacing the pet and are achievable; however, in the unlikely event that the pet becomes injured during such exercises, the pet owner will not hold OCWC liable.

8. OCWC recommends that the pet is passively exercised for the next 24-48 hours after a Myotherapy treatment, adequate fresh water is supplied and a comfortable place to rest is available.

9. The owner understands that their pet may experience adverse or positive reactions such as tiredness, increased thirst, regurgitation, diarrhea or an increase in energy. These symptoms should subside within a few days.

10. It is the owner’s responsibility to notify OCWC if any reactions appear excessive or unfavourable.


1. Organix Canine Wellness Centre will exercise all due responsible care to prevent injury or illness to the owner’s pet. However, in the event of illness, injury or death, the owner and said responsible person of the pet will not personally hold liable the owner/s of Organix Canine Wellness Centre for such instances.

2. Failure to provide 48 hours notice for appointment amendments or cancellations will result in the prepayment of your next appointment and forfeiting of any deposits paid. Multiple late cancellations may result in up-front payment for all future appointments or the refusal of future service at the discretion of Organix Canine Wellness Centre.

3. Any deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable and will be deducted from your pet/s final appointment value.

4. Organix Canine Wellness Centre reserves the right to amend or cancel any appointment at any time, for any reason, whether they are made online, in person or over the phone.

5. You are responsible for checking this website prior to any appointments for updates to these terms and changes to pricing and services.


It is considered a “no-show” when the client is unavailable at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact OCWC to cancel or reschedule within 48 hours.

  • We reserve the right to charge the FULL fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a “no-show”.
    Please make every effort to call, cancel, or reschedule 48 hours prior to appointments to avoid such situations.
