Just like any old poop bag, tear one bag from the roll and put your hand in the opening. Pick up the poop with your hand covered in the bag and turn it inside out. Twist the bag to make the end smaller and then tie a knot.

Oh Crap! is on a mission to stop plastic pollution one poop at a time and I’m here to help them! While there are many compostable doggy brand bags out there, these are the best I’ve used. They are strong, a good size – not too big, not too small, keep the smell in and can handle a decent amount of water. The best part is, they are home compostable, and if they’re put in the regular rubbish, they are gone in landfill in 3 months! That’s super quick!

How Long Do The Poop Bags Take To Compost/Decompose?
Oh Crap Dog Poop Bags are certified AS 5810 & AS 4736 compostable, which means they meet strict Australian standards for composting. In a commercial composting facility, 90% of the bag will break down within 12 weeks, and it will be completely biodegraded within 6 months. In a home composting environment, it may take a bit longer, but rest assured, these bags will return to the earth much faster than traditional plastic bags, leaving no harmful residues behind.
Do These Poop Bags Fit In A Standard Sized Dispenser?
Absolutely! We've designed our rolls to be universally compatible so they fit standard holders. We believe in making eco-friendly choices convenient, so you can easily switch to our compostable bags without having to change your existing dispenser.
I Already Use Biodegradable Doggy Bags, Why Should I Switch?
