FAQ's
For maintenance, you can add this treatment to your bathing routine when your dog appears to have a dry, dull coat or dry skin, if your dog is feeling itchy or on red, irritated skin.
As this is an unmedicated product, we can't recommend it's use to alleviate medical conditions. However, in my experience, it has appeared to help inflamed, itchy skin on both the body and paws, and reduced excessive licking.
I personally prefer a thicker paste that I can dab onto the coat and then wipe through in the direction it lays as it dilutes very easy while applying to a wet coat. You may like to use a squeeze bottle with a runnier mixture or filling up your bath to retain the water and using a smaller bucket you can scoop some of the treated water over your dog multiple times - just make sure to rinse the product out really well on heavy coated breeds.
Many short-haired breeds actually shed a significant amount and dry skin and coat sheds more than a hydrated coat so not only is this great for short-haired dogs it may also help reduce their shedding. Also, if your dog of any lengthed hair, has irritated, itchy skin, this may help soothe the skin.
For Maintenance, every 2-3 months. For Preventative, every month. As a skin treatment, weekly, reducing frequency as symptoms reduce. In severe or stubborn cases please seek Veterinary or Naturopathic guidance.
There are many aspects to controlling itch, allergies and dermatitis. If your dog is not finding much relief with weekly use of this treatment we highly recommend checking your other grooming products are suitable and looking into their diet.
